The Great Medieval Jousting Tournament is back at Bridoré Castle!

History buffs and fans of medieval chivalry rejoice! The grand medieval jousting tournament is making its triumphant return to Bridoré Castle after a long absence.

The Medieval Jousting Tournament returns to Bridoré Castle, near Loches, for a day of historical and festive activities. The annual event attracts thousands of visitors passionate about medieval history.

The 15th-century Bridoré Castle will serve as the perfect backdrop for this day of historical reenactment. Visitors can witness equestrian jousting, sword fighting, falconry demonstrations, and many other activities.

Participants, all dressed in period costumes, will recreate the atmosphere and daily life of the Middle Ages. Children can even dress up and try their hand at medieval fencing.

This day will also be an opportunity to discover the trades of medieval artisans and merchants, who will offer handcrafted products such as jewelry, clothing, and wooden objects.

The event is organized in partnership with the city of Loches and the Loches Sud Touraine community. It is open to all visitors and tickets are available on site.
