Bridoré Castle receives the special departmental prize from the VMF.

A well-deserved recognition for this medieval gem of Indre-et-Loire.

The Château de Bridoré, located in the commune of Bridoré (37600) in Indre-et-Loire, has just received a prestigious award. The Society for the Protection of Historical Monuments (VMF) has granted it the special departmental VMF 37 prize, accompanied by a check for €5,000.


An award for the preservation of heritage. This award recognizes the ongoing efforts to preserve and enhance this medieval fortress.


The castle owner, Pierre-Alexandre Mouveau, has expressed his gratitude to the VMF members, the jury, and especially Mrs. Pelat de Villedon, for this recognition.


"It is both an encouragement and invaluable support to continue and improve the preservation of this medieval fortress," confirmed Pierre-Alexandre Mouveau.

The Château de Bridoré  opens its doors to the public every summer from July 1st to August 31st, from 1 pm to 7 pm. Outside of these dates, group visits can be arranged by appointment for a minimum of 10 people.


History and heritage enthusiasts will have a unique opportunity to discover this architectural gem of the region.
